Oliver is the Chief Operating Officer of
Asia Cleantech Capital, a fund manager focused on investment in clean
transportation and clean power in the Asia Pacific. Oliver is a founder and
director of Zeco Systems, a provider of electric vehicle infrastructure
solutions, and also serves as a director of Annex Power.
Oliver was most recently the founder and Managing Director
of Conergy AG’s Asia Pacific operations which he established in Singapore in
2006.
In 2001, Oliver joined the Conergy Group, Europe’s largest
solar manufacturer with over 150 employees and nearly €1.0 billion in sales, as
project engineer for large scale photovoltaic power plants and special
applications. Among his major achievements was the successful project and site
management of the 4MW photovoltaic turnkey power plant in Hemau, Germany - the
world’s largest photovoltaic construction project at the time.
In 2004, Oliver was appointed as the direct report to the
CEO and company founder of Conergy, Mr. Hans-Martin Rüter. He worked closely
together with the board of directors and the supervisory board of the Conergy
Group. Oliver has been a director of Conergy Pte Ltd, Epuron Pte Ltd, Epuron
Energy Park I Pte Ltd, and SunTechnics Energy Systems Pte Ltd. His renewable
energy operations and development experience extends from Chile to Thailand,
Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Rwanda.
Oliver received a Master of Science degree in Renewable
Energy from the University of Oldenburg and a degree in Environmental Planning
from the University of Applied Science Trier.
