Marc Pomerleau is a founding partner heading up strategy and
development for Cleantech Agency (CTA) and Clarus Agency (CA). CTA is a
progressive events company focused on bringing technology and policy leaders and
decision makers together to accelerate clean technology initiatives. CA is a
leading creative communications company that educates and informs audiences of
technologies and concepts that can change the world.
Over the course of his career, Marc has served as a Presidential Management
Intern (PMI) in the U.S. federal government, lived and worked in the PRC and
Asia Pacific for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, managed solutions
marketing for Sun Microsystems, served as adjunct faculty at the school of
business at Dominican University and conducted sales negotiation training
seminars for the Fortune 500. In 2006, Marc co-founded a socially conscious
start-up dedicated to bringing solar powered WiFi to the developing world and
was recognized at Google Zeitgeist and selected as a finalist at the California
Clean Tech Open competition.
Today, Marc develops strategy, messaging and multimedia campaigns for some of
the world’s leading technology companies including established and start-up
clean tech companies. Marc holds an M.A. in China Studies and International
Economics from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS)
in Washington DC and an M.A. certificate in Industrial Psychology from Golden
Gate University, San Francisco, California.
