Joby is responsible for GridPoint’s electric vehicle platform, and the architect of the platform’s multi-vendor charge management network.

Joby leads GridPoint’s participation in electric vehicle standardization efforts. He is a member of the SAE J2836™ and J1772™ working groups, the Zigbee/HomePlug Smart Energy working group, and the ISO/IEC joint working group on vehicle-to-grid communications.

Previously, Joby worked for on Operating system and Protocol Development for Microsoft and Brocade Communications. During his tenure at Microsoft, Joby participated in the creation of the USB and Bluetooth industry specifications.
